I am Scout, a Mother and Birthworker living, learning and serving on Kaurna country, Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia.
I give thanks for the lands upon which my feet rest.
I give thanks for the lands upon which I was born and have birthed on.
I give thanks for my ancestors, known and unknown to me.
I give thanks to Mothers.
I give thanks to Elders.
I give thanks to the Women I may support.
I give thanks to Children and Babies.
A few years ago I began my (conscious) journey to Birthwork. Since then I have facilitated many womens and mother-baby circles, attended birth and tended to families in pregnancy and postpartum. I see Birthwork as life work so I work holistically across a spectrum of topics including menarche + the menstrual cycle, understanding and healing birth imprints, abortion care and post abortion integration, traditional midwifery wisdom in prenatal and postnatal care and birth attendance.
I am currently servicing Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and beyond. I also offer Birth Attendance in the Yorke Peninsula.
Work Ethic.
I love to connect to the roots. The word `Scout` has it´s roots in Old English "To Observe" and Latin meaning "To Listen". In later years the term Scout evolved to mean "Path Finder".
Indeed it is with these three principles that I orient my work ethic and model my life around.
Guiding Principles
"To Observe"
I am there to bear witness to you and your journey.
With gentle awareness I observe the unfolding's of your path holding space for what arises. I observe so you don't have to figure out alone what is needed in your Birthing space or in Postpartum. I observe to remain present with what's emerging and to hold myself accountable in the space. Above all else; I see you so you know you are not alone.
"To Listen"
I am there to hear you.
At each stage, as your jounrey unravels, I will listen. When the tears come and the words go, I will listen. When the anger rises and rationality leaves, I will listen. I do not listen to give an answer. I listen so you may be heard. I will listen so you may guide yourself to listen as well, learning to walk with your intution.

I am here to support you to carve your path.
I listen and I observe, yet I am not passive. I will walk with you to find your unique way using my knowledge, skills and wisdom. I am not here to heal you, rather to be a warm guide as you heal yourself.
I am not here to make decisions for you, but to give you the resources you need to make them. I may find the path, but you carve it out.
And I will be there holding your hand every step of the way.
My Journey.
I was born on Kaurna lands in Adelaide and spent my childhood years in Queensland before moving to Naarm (Melbourne) where I completed highschool. After school I went on to study Psychology and postgrad worked as a childrens therapist and mental health support worker.
In 2021 I moved to Germany to reconnect to my ancestral lands. Here I learnt the wisdom of herbs and began offering womens circles. I began supporting women through abortion, pregnancy and postpartum.
I worked for some time as a therapist for the German Red Cross before giving Birth to my daughter in 2024.
I incorporate various bodies of wisdom in my work including traditional midwifery skills, paganism, schamanic womancraft, traditional chinese medicine, ayurveda, folk herbalism, psychology and science.
An important part of my work is sustainablity and nature consciousness. My aim is to have a positive impact on the earth in my Birthwork. I live and work with the seasons; my inner seasons and the earths seasons. I also support families on their path to nature connectedness.
My work is holistic and all encompassing.
